· Student Forms/Paperwork:
We are excited to announce that all school paperwork for the beginning of the year will now be completed through Campus Parent Portal. This eliminates parents from having to handwrite and return numerous paper documents (example: address and phone number updates, emergency contacts, student handbook agreement, and nurse form). Please complete this on your smartphone, tablet, or computer as soon as possible to gain early access to your student’s schedule on July 26. All paperwork needs to be completed no later than Thursday, July 31, 2025.
If you do not have a Campus Parent account or can’t remember your password, please email icsupport@stephenscountyschools.org. Computers will be available at the Open Houses listed above if you need assistance.

· Transportation – APP “My Ride K-12”
A member of the transportation team will attend each Open House to answer questions and distribute bus numbers.
To enhance communication, SCSS transportation services will begin using the My Ride K-12 mobile app. The app will calculate the timing of each bus route, determine bus numbers, and communicate any route changes. “Bus routes and addresses for each student pick-up and drop-off are being verified and added to the system,” says Lisa Bell, transportation director. “Specific student/bus route information will be available by July 30, 2025.” Parents and guardians are encouraged to download the My Ride K-12 app on any Apple or Android mobile device by using the Chrome browser and visiting myridek12.tylerapp.com. A flyer with step-by-step download and student registration instructions is available at https://www.stephenscountyschools.com/departments/transportation.
· Safety and Security:
As part of our efforts to make safety our priority, the Stephens County School System is encouraging all students and parents to download the mobile “See Something, Send Something” app.
Offered by the Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security, the app enables students, parents, and the community to anonymously report student tips about weapons, drugs, bullying, mental health concerns, and/or other school safety concerns 24/7 and is monitored by trained emergency professionals.
Please download the free app on your cell phone to remind you to always be aware of your surroundings, and so the app is readily available if needed. Here is a link for more information and to access the free mobile app download: https://gema.georgia.gov/get-involved/report-threat.
NOTE: This incident reporting system is NOT intended for emergency situations. For situations requiring an immediate response, call 9-1-1.
