Section 504

Welcome to the Stephens County Section 504 webpage!

We are pleased to serve students and parents in need of protections provided by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.  Stephens County School System does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability in any student program.  The intent of the school system is to ensure that all students with disabilities eligible under Section 504 are identified, evaluated, and provided with the appropriate educational services and accommodations.

The School Counselor(s) at each school should be the first contact in regard to Section 504 Referrals.  Please contact the appropriate school counselor to begin the referral process.
