Employee Payroll and Benefits
The Stephens County Board of Education annually approves salary schedules for certified and classified employees as a part of the budget process. Approved salary schedules do not constitute an offer of employment. The Stephens County Board of Education also approves payroll dates for each fiscal year. All employees receive a payroll verification sheet each year.
The Stephens County Board of Education is committed to reviewing and providing comprehensive employee benefits at the lowest cost possible for employees. Each fall open enrollment is provided for health insurance through the State Health Benefit Plan. Each spring, open enrollment is provided for other voluntary benefits. Benefits are set up as employee payroll deductions once they are confirmed by employees.
