Stephens County School System is committed to the success of students through good stewardship and sound financial practices which support the mission and vision of the Stephens County Board of Education.

Policies established by the Board of Education govern purchasing authority, financial thresholds, competitive processes and other fiscal management processes. Financial Reports and SPLOST Receipts are reviewed and approved by the Stephens County Board of Education each month. The Finance Department also works closely with Directors and Grant Managers to ensure compliance with Federal funding and grant requirements.
