Title III-A, EL and ESOL
Stephens County School System currently does not receive funding for the Federal Title III, Part A program. The English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program is a state-funded instruction program for eligible English Learners (ELs) in grades K-12 in public schools. The WIDA Consortium English Language Development standards, and Georgia Standards of Excellence guide the work of ESOL teachers. District staff, principals, and teachers work hard to ensure that the language development needs of our district's EL students are met.
