ESPLOST: Small Change = Big Impact!

E-SPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) is a renewing one-cent sales tax, paid by all consumers in Stephens County, used to fund capital improvements. This includes things like building and renovating schools, improving safety and technology, purchasing buses, and upgrading facilities. It does not fund salaries or day-to-day operations, but instead helps districts invest in long-term improvements without increasing property taxes.  This is NOT a new tax, and voters have approved six E-SPLOST campaigns since 1998.

We encourage you to vote May 19, 2026!
