Welcome to the Stephens County School System, a progressive school district nestled in the Northeast Georgia mountains.  Serving 4259 students in seven schools, we  are honored to have two schools that are the recipients of the Georgia Oglethorpe award and top ranked schools by the Georgia Public Policy Foundation.  All Stephens County Schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Stephens County students consistently lead the 13 county Pioneer RESA district in academic achievement.
